EXTRA LARGE Repro coat rack - choice of metal & ceramics

| 2 reviews

Beautiful handmade coat rack with 'Extra Large Reproduction cast iron hooks' - please choose size of rack , metal finish  colour of wood paint and choice of ceramic design options from the drop down menus. Hooks are available in cast Iron Matt Antique finish or Antique Brass finish on cast Iron. Main image of coat rack has hooks in cast iron - Matt Antique finish. The rack pictured is 10cm high - but we can also do 8cm high. We recomend 10cm high for a normal size entrance coat rack - but if you are looking for something a little daintier the 8cm high rack might be more suitable.

For this product, our main Image is shown with 'Matt Antique' finished coat hooks and wood is hand painted in 'subtle cream' with no distressing. Each rack is carefully made to your specified design for wood colour and hook choice. Please see our main menu bar 'wood colour options' which explains the wood and wood colours in more depth - we offer many finishes to match to your room theme. Please note this is painted wood (not machine sprayed MDF).

For this rack - the ceramic design chosen will be the same on both top and bottom of each hook. Should you wish to see the metal hook or ceramic design in much closer detail or at a different angle - please look at the individual hook listings under the category 'COAT HOOKS with ceramic - glass'. If you wish to make your rack totally bespoke and each hook to be a different ceramic colour please choose the CUSTOMER MIX option under ceramic choice. You will then need to email us with your chosen ceramic designs and their order of positions.

Please choose where you would like the fixing holes. We would normally conceal the wall fixing holes behind the two outer hooks to allow them to be concealed for aesthetic purpose. (on larger coat racks there will also be a concealed hole behind one of the middle hooks). But this will mean that you will need to be comfortable with a screwdriver, to re - attach the outer hooks - once the rack is successfully attached to the wall. If you do not feel comfortable with this option you can opt for a visible countersunk hole at each end. Alternatively, if you wish to drill your own attachment holes, we can provide the coat rack without any wall fitting holes at all. Its up to you just select the option that is suitable.

With each of the wood sizes we offer,  a different number of hooks are available to be fitted.  For example on a 68cm wood length, we offer a choice of 3, 4 or 5 hooks - obviously they will all have different clear gaps between the hooks. We recommend gaps of anything between 14 and 25cm between hooks dependant upon what you would like to hang on them......for thick puffy coats - you might find it better to spread the hooks out - and for hanging scarves or aprons in a kitchen you could get away with smaller gaps between hooks of say 13-15cm. It also depends how you hang your garments - by hood or by neck-tag, and what choice of hook you choose ie - with or without ceramic. All things to consider when choosing the length and number of hooks required.

Standard wall fixings are included - but if you are attaching to plasterboard we recommend will need to source suitable fixings for your wall type.

Great product and outstanding service

I ordered an extra large repro coat rack with metal and ceramic hooks. The product is very high quality and the service first class. Delivery takes a few days but given these are made to order, that is only to be expected. I would not hesitate recommending this small family business to other prospective customers.
